In the knockout round, the 4 teams that advanced from championship round played against each other over two legs on a home-and-away basis. The champions, runner-up and third place of 2023–24 Liga 2 will be promoted to 2024–25 Liga 1.
PSBS won 5–1 on aggregate and promoted to 2024–25 Liga 1.
Semen Padang won 2–1 on aggregate and promoted to 2024–25 Liga 1.
Malut United won 3–2 on aggregate and promoted to 2024–25 Liga 1.
PSBS won 6–0 on aggregate and wins Liga 2.

A total of 80 teams will be drawn into 16 groups of 5 teams. The preliminary round will be played in single round-robin matches.
16 group winners and 16 runners-up will advance to the second round.
The draw was held online via the official PSSI youtube channel on 26 March 2024.[46] 80 teams divided into 5 zones based on their geographical location. However, 2 teams then decided to withdrew ahead of the national phase.
The following draw mechanism is applied: 1. The 16 host teams are seeded and automatically drawn sequentially into groups A–P. 2. The draw started with zone 1 and ended with zone 5. 3. Teams from the same zone cannot be drawn into the same group.

Di antara 3 tim yang bersaing dalam perebutan gelar juara Liga Inggris 2023/2024, Liverpool bakal mendapatkan jadwal berat di pekan ke-32. Pasalnya, mereka harus bertandang ke markas sang rival, Manchester United.
Partai Manchester United vs Liverpool diagendakan pada Minggu, 7 April 2024 pukul 21.30 WIB. Jika tidak ada perubahan, jalannya pertandingan ini bisa ditonton via live Champions TV 5 dan streaming Vidio.
Berkaca pada pertemuan terakhir kedua kubu, Liverpool bukanlah tim yang difavoritkan. Pasalnya, The Reds mengalami kekalahan dari MU di Old Trafford pada babak perempat final FA Cup 2024. Skor akhir 4-3.
Hasil minor di pertemuan terakhir ini mesti menjadi evaluasi Liverpool sebelum kembali bertamu di kandang MU. Beruntung, situasi tengah mendukung The Reds. Sebab, sejak kalah dari MU di FA Cup, mereka bisa bangkit.

Arsenal berpotensi menjadi pemimpin Liga Inggris 2023/2024 andai merebut 3 poin dari Brighton. Dengan begitu, The Gunners bisa mengambil alih posisi Liverpool lagi dari puncak, setidaknya sebelum The Reds bertanding kontra MU di hari Minggu.
Beberapa musim terakhir, Brighton memang menjadi tim kuda hitam. Namun, status itu tak berlaku bagi The Seagulls saat melawan Arsenal musim ini. Pada putaran pertama EPL tahun lalu, Arsenal mampu menggasak Brighton 2 gol tanpa balas.

The 2 group winners from the fourth round will play in the final match. The final will be played as a single match.[47] If tied after regulation time, extra time and, if necessary, a penalty shoot-out will be used to decide the winning team.
